The KW Military Community
Meet the people who lead it.
Every leader here is Mission Ready. They stepped up to lead in their state.
How it is led
Everyone starts as a member
Every leadership role starts from the same bar. We call it Lead From the Front: be Mission Ready and complete your first Tour: HQ Navigation. Then each role adds its own step.
Member
Where everyone starts. You join a network of agents who know military life. You get ready with real training. You find a community that feels familiar, and a purpose you share.
- Network
- Readiness
- Community
- Purpose
To get here: be a Keller Williams associate and join.
Ambassador
The local guide. They welcome new members in their market, show them where to start, and connect them with the right people. If someone goes quiet, they reach back out.
- Welcome
- Guide the Pathway
- Connect
- Re-engage
To get here: meet the bar above. Ambassador spots open as a market grows.
State Representative
The leader of Ambassadors. They guide the Ambassadors in their state, bring them together each month, and help each one grow. When someone needs more help, they step in. State Reps may cover multiple states until each state can stand on its own.
- Guide
- Coordinate
- Develop
- Escalate
To get here: serve as an Ambassador first. A state opens once it has three Ambassadors.
Board of Directors
The guardians of the mission. They watch over the community, help set its direction, and take care of what has been built. They speak up for military families and the agents who serve them. Each member votes and owns one community mission each month.
- Oversight
- Guidance
- Stewardship
- Advocacy
To get here: a year active, or past service as an Ambassador or State Representative, plus real attendance. Year one seats are appointed. Seats move to an election after that.
Community Leader
Leads the whole community. She shares the vision, builds what lasts, helps others step up to lead, and represents the community. She is not a board member and votes only to break a tie.
- Vision
- Build
- Empower
- Represent
Meeting the bar makes you eligible. It does not make you appointed. Roles are filled by contribution, consistency, and what the community needs at the time.
Board of Directors
The board
The board looks after the mission. Its members vote on how the community runs.

Community Leader
Shandice Banks
Community Leader
Shandice leads the KW Military Community.
She is held to the same bar as every leader on this page. A written list says what she can decide alone, and what she cannot do at all.
Shandice Banks is the Community Leader of the KW Military Community and founder of Knowology LLC, the infrastructure behind My Military HQ.
With a background spanning military service, real estate, and technology, she built this community to solve one problem: military families deserve agents who are trained, verified, and ready to serve them.
Before launching HQ, Shandice tested the military real estate niche at scale with 900+ agents, proving that specialization and certification compress trust faster than any marketing campaign. That lesson became the foundation for everything built here.

About this list
This page shows every leader who holds a role and is Mission Ready. It changes on its own when a role changes. We list people, not open spots.
What this page says about roles, seats and votes comes from the community's own ratified rules, which members can read in full inside the community.
- What each role does and how to reach it: Leadership Roles, the community's role standard
- The board's two divisions, and the tie-break vote: Voting Structure, ratified by a Full Community vote
- Who belongs to each division: the two ratified Division Naming documents
- Year one seats appointed, elections after: Term Lengths, Appointments, and Elections, ratified
- What the Community Leader may decide alone, and what she cannot do: Community Leader Authority Framework, ratified
